My works are inspired by my own experiences and those around me, revolving around queer identity, trauma, and perseverance. Specifically, my digital art focuses on mecha/robot media, as well as transhumanism, which is a genre and subculture centered around the desire to be nonhuman, most commonly in the form of cybernetic enhancements or being completely robotic. Sapient machines are a fitting way to convey many of my own experiences, from my disabilities to my gender and sexuality, and as such, my work heavily features themes and visuals centered around them. My art makes the viewer think about these experiences, both good and bad, and for those who can relate, brings them some comfort and understanding. It is also a way for me to explore my own thoughts and feelings, and better understand myself.
