About the Artist

Jeks McCormick is a cartoonist and character designer completing their Bachelor in Art at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He got his start in the art world at a young age, posting fan works on social media platforms like Tumblr when he was thirteen. Today, he continues to produce fan works as well as originals, with a focus on comics and character-driven storytelling. His work is heavily populated by the gothic supernatural, queer themes, and mecha designs similar to that of Transformers. The stories he creates often depict more serious topics, such as trauma, discrimination, and moral difficulties, and are geared towards more mature audiences. He has done logo work for a variety of clients, such as the 'positive paw' design for Ladd Elementary in Fairbanks, Alaska. His goal is to produce and release independent graphic novels, as well as obtain work at either DC or Hasbro.
